Willie Cannon Obituary
A graveside service for Willie Jean Cannon will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Aimwell Baptist Cemetery, 2435 Hwy 1215, Zwolle, Louisiana. Brother Britt Hayes will be officiating the service. A visitation will be held at her home, 4710 Carter Ferry Rd, Zwolle, Louisiana beginning Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and ending on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 8:00 a.m.
Willie Jean was born on June 12, 1959 to William Benjamin Britt and Mary Ann Blankinship in Zwolle, Louisiana and passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Willie Jean is preceded in death by her parents, William Britt and Mary Blankenship and her brothers, Billie Britt and Glen Edward Britt. She is survived by her husband, Kendall Cannon of Zwolle, Louisiana; son, Terry Denny Matthews of Greenwood, Louisiana; sisters, Sally Randall and husband, Butch, of Many, Louisiana, Viola Malmay and husband, Ray, of Noble, Louisiana, Mary Joe Laroux and husband, Joseph, of Fisher, Louisiana, and Helen Britt of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brother, Terry Britt and wife, Charlotte, of Zwolle, Louisiana; and granddaughter, Natalie Ferlito of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Honoring Willie Jean as pallbearers will be Richard Demmon, Tim (Fritz) Hamilton, and Jim Henry, Jr.
Services and care were provided to the family by Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana.
