Linda Anderson

Linda Anderson was born in Dallas, Texas, on October 15, 1944 and grew up in Wylie Texas. She graduated Wylie High School 1963 and married her first love Jerry Don Anderson in November of that same year.
They had two children; Karen Denise and Jason Don. The family lived in Wylie before moving in 1972 to the Anderson Family Farm on Dublin Road in Plano. Linda and Jerry Don celebrated 53 years of marriage together before Jerry Don passed in 2017.
Linda began working at GTE in 1967 (General Telephone Electric), which eventually became Verizon. She retired in 2007 after 40 years of service.
In retirement, Linda enjoyed going to the movies, spending time with her son, daughter, and granddaughter. In 2021 she became a great grandmother. Linda loved ice cream sundaes and catching up with her cousins and work friends on the phone. She was a dedicated soap opera fan, watching her "stories" Y&R and B&B and also reading Danielle Steele novels.
Linda passed away peacefully on April 24th surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her daughter Karen True and son in law Jeff True of Northlake TX, her son Jason Anderson of Plano TX, her granddaughter Courtney True and great granddaughter Margot Smith of Keller TX.
A graveside service will be held for Linda at 1:00pm on Monday, April 28th at Mills Cemetery in Garland, Texas.
