Linda Arale Obituary
Linda R. Arale, 74 of Freehold passed away on January 15, 2026, at Serenity Hospice Inpatient Unit, Hamilton. She was born and raised in South Beach Staten Island before settling in Freehold in 2019. She was an incredibly hard worker. Linda was a housekeeper at Eger Health Care for over a decade, and prior to that, she worked at a commercial laundry mat in Staten Island for just as long. Linda met her husband, Robert, while working at a book binding business, and together they built a beautiful life. In her free time, Linda enjoyed shopping and driving around in her Blue Ford Taurus while listening to WCBS. She was a big fan of Elvis and loved to reminisce about his music.
Linda was predeceased by her dog, Champ. She is survived by husband, Robert Arale of Freehold; three children, Robert Arale and his wife, Erin of Keyport, Kimberly Arale of Staten Island and Melissa Gambacorta of Howell and son in law, Nick Gambacorta of Howell; four grandchildren, Christopher, Everly, Allyson and Andrew.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Friday, January 23, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. For those who desire, memorial contributions in Linda's name may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163. I was lucky to call Linda my friend for many years. I will miss her dearly and cherish the many memories we shared. Sending my deepest condolences to her family during this time.
