Linda Arbogast Obituary
Born February 9, 1954 in Staunton, she was a daughter of the late James Leaford Sumner Jr. and Mary Ella Clark Sumner. She was a 1972 graduate of Wilson Memorial High School. Linda was a long-time quality assurance technician for Hollister Incorporated prior to retirement, and was currently employed by Fisher Auto Parts as a delivery driver.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary Sumner. Surviving are her husband, Roger Eugene Arbogast; a son, Jonathan Phillips of Churchville; brothers James "Jimmy" Sumner of Staunton and Harold Sumner (Lelia) of Mt. Sidney; sister Patty Ergenbright of Churchville; sister-in-law Cheryl Sumner of Lynchburg; former daughter-in-law Dreama Johnson of Churchville; grandchildren Jessica Martin and Justin Martin; great-grandchildren Adelina Nicely and River Martin; and her very, very best friend, Jennifer Melton of Craigsville.
There will be no public services.
