La Grange – Linda Harris Bailey went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at UNC Lenoir Hospital. Linda was born to the late William Norman Harris and Sarah Griffin Harris in Marion, NC on April 13, 1948.
Linda worked as an office manager and bookkeeper for many years before retiring. She had a heart for the Lord and a smile for everyone. She never met a stranger and loved talking to anyone. She was a member of Generation Church of Goldsboro.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Generation Church, 3016 Summit Road, Goldsboro, at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Burnice R Bailey; son, Matthew Bailey of La Grange; daughter, Michelle Bailey Beasley and husband, Chris of La Grange; sisters, Kay Cureton and husband, Ben, Jane Little and husband, Dan. She has 8 grandchildren, Ainsley Bonner, Courtney Mooring, Victoria Bonner and husband, Blake, Jessica Bailey and husband, Jacob, Cameron Barwick, Jared Barwick and fiancé, Tela Bivins, Summer Beasley and Zack Beasley. She also has 8 great-grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
