Linda Bell Banton

Linda Bell Banton, 82, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Joe Bufford officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY she was born January 19, 1943 the daughter of the late Houston and Helen Carter. She was a retired Shipping Supervisor from Mid-Continent Spring. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Bobby Bell; her second husband: Charlie Banton; and her grandson: Matthew Parker.

Survivors include her son: Randy (Judy) Bell of Chapmansboro, TN; her step daughters: Jacwyn (Jack) Lackey of Hopkinsville, KY, and Danna (Shawn) Parker of Cape Girardeau, MO; her sisters: Mary Anna (Don) Minton of Hopkinsville, KY and Carol Dunning of Murphysboro, IL; her brother: Don Carter of Altus, OK; her grandchildren, Logan (Cassidy) Bell, Bobby (Cameron) Bell, Sarah Lackey, Joe (Zena) Lackey, Lindsay Parker, and Lily Parker; and her great grandson, Boston Bell.
