Linda Bardwell

1949 - 2025

Linda L Bardwell (Plastow) of Hahira, Georgia, formerly of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. She was born June 19, 1949, in Canton, Ohio to late parents, Donald Plastow and Marylou Capuano Garrod.

Linda was a lifelong gardener with generational plants from her grandmother. She worked in Massillon Community Hospital, participated in many American Heart Association fundraisers and often played Mrs. Claus following in the footsteps of her favorite Santa, Uncle Ralph. She was the heart of our family, caring for older relatives and her children and always making the world a better place. She lived her life to the fullest and got to see all her children in one place just a few days before her unexpected passing. She and Larry spent many mornings watering flowers in her garden and preparing for their next adventure. She will be forever in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marylou Garrod (Capuano) and Donald Plastow.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Laurance "Larry" H Bardwell; children and spouses, Yvette and Thomas Pearch Jr. of Frederick Maryland, April and Joseph Galletti of Valdosta, Georgia and Aaron and Jennifer Bardwell of Navarre, Ohio; grandchildren, Richard Pearch and Stevi Rex, Denise and Xzavier Darensbourg, Benjamin Pearch, Katelynn Galletti, Audrey Galletti, Elizabeth Galletti, Tristen Bardwell, and Dylan and Leah Bardwell; great grandchild, Roryn Pearch-Rex; and siblings, Alan and Alice Plastow, Sherry and Stan Mehringher and Shirley and Denny Horst.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 3, 2026, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10:00AM to 11:00AM.
