Linda Barnes Obituary

She was born on June 19, 1951 in Rome, NY to Edward James Fisher and Dorothy (nee: Wood) Fisher.
Linda married James W. Barnes in Ft Leavenworth, KS on June 27, 1970. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2017.
The loving mother and grandmother did administrative work for different homeless shelters for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching Korean soap operas.
Linda is survived by 2 sons: Shawn (Kristen) Barnes of Granite City and Chris (Robin) Barnes of Granite City; 4 grandchildren: Colton, Adalyn, Mckenzie and Westley; a brother, Jimmy (Betty) Fisher; a sister, Pat Gafner and other extended family members.
Besides her husband and parents, Linda is preceded in death by other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home in Granite City, IL.
