With profound sadness we announce the passing of Linda Ann Bessemer (Pugh), our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all whose lives she touched, on November 10, 2022

She is finally at peace after a courageous 2nd battle with cancer. Linda was born June 1, 1947 in Akron, Ohio to her parents Bertie (Lemmon) and Larry Pugh.

She was proceeded in death by her life-partner, Joyce, her daughter, Jennifer, her brother Gordon and is survived by her brother, Larry. Linda lived a full life as a wonderful mother to her daughters Jennifer (Henry) and Crissy, and grandmother to Grace, Tatiana, Haylee, Morgan, Evan, Brick, Ginger, Cooper, Kaeden, Delaney, Gabriella, and Sydney. She also leaves behind her beloved Dachshund, Mollie. She also valued her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda was a 1965 graduate of Ellet High School. She is remembered in her youth for being a practical joker and fun to be around. She was a whiz at math and had 100s of comic books growing up. She lived for Fantasy Football and was once featured in an article on Yahoo Sports as the winningest female coach in the mostly men League. Her favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was a horror movie fan and especially liked "The Walking Dead". She loved to travel, visit the casino and play her slots. She was known for her novelty t-shirts and had "dirty" sense of humor. She loved to laugh and make other people laugh. She was independent and loved being "on the go". She was an amazing gardener and had the most beautiful vegetables. She was known for bringing over her homemade soups, pepperoni rolls, apple chips and noodles for the grandkids. She was stubborn and strong-willed but, also accepting and loving. She was strong, resilient and overcame adversity. She was an overall "Badass".

Most of all she loved her family and wanted the best for all of them. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held Sat., Nov 12 at 11:00 am at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, OH 44321. She will be laid to rest at Rose Hill cemetery at noon.
