Bodden, Linda "Lyndee" Linda, a devout Christian, went Home to be with her Heavenly Father Monday Sept. 3rd 2012. She will be missed but not forgotten by a large family and many friends. Born in the Cayman Islands. Linda came to Tampa in 1942 and with her husband they raised three children. Though she worked outside the home for a brief time she was primarily a home maker. She took great pride in her family and taught them conservative Christian values. She attended several churches in Tampa with Bay Life Assembly of God being her latest. Linda was proceeded in death by her husband Paul H. Bodden and is survived by her daughter Joann Powers (husband Thomas), sons Paul (wife Arlene) and Gene Bodden (wife Debra), five grandchildren Thomas Powers, Paul Patrick Bodden (wife Cyann), Stephanie Devlin (husband Charles), Josh and Chase Bodden, five great grand children Teresa and Paul Devlin, Matthew, Karilyn and Emily Bodden as well as several surviving brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held in Clearwater at the Sylvan Abby Memorial Park 2853 Sunset Point Road on Saturday Sept 8th. A general visitation will begin at 10:00 am. A service to honor her life will be held in the Chapel at 10:45 with a grave side ceremony following. Family and friends are invited to Paul and Arlene Bodden's house after the services for food and fellowship. The address is 1636 Belltower Dr. New Port Richey. Maps will be passed out at the ceremony. The family would like to thank all the genuine caring CNAs, Nurses and volunteers that helped care for our mother at Mease Manor, Palm Gardens, Sunshine Christian Homes and Brookside Hospice House. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bay Life Assembly of God Church Building Fund 6923 Sheldon Rd Tampa Fl 33615.
