Linda Boyle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sperry-McHoul-Pichi Funeral Home on Jan. 28, 2026.
NORTH ATTLEBORO – Linda May (Fisher) Boyle, 82, a lifelong resident of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully yet unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at home. She was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late Richard Boyle, who passed away on December 11, 2025.

Born on March 11, 1943, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, Linda was the loving daughter of the late Elton B. Fisher, Jr. and Ethel (Gay) Fisher. She grew up in North Attleboro and was a graduate of North Attleboro High School.

In her younger years, Linda worked at Attleboro Trust Bank and Gaudette Leather. After marrying Richard, she devoted herself fully to being a wife and mother, lovingly making a home for her family. Later in life, she took great pride in working at the Arc of Bristol County in the kitchen, a role she fondly referred to as working "grandmother's hours," ensuring she was always available to care for and spend time with her grandsons after school.

Linda treasured simple joys - playing cards at the Attleboro Senior Center with her sister Gertrude, and gathering the family every Sunday evening at 6 o'clock for dinner. Above all else, her happiest moments were spent with her family, especially her grandsons.

A devoted and doting grandmother, lovingly known as "Amma," Linda could often be found traveling "from one field to another," faithfully attending her grandsons' sporting events. They were truly her world.

She was the devoted mother of Tracy Tronti and her husband Mark, and Neil Boyle and his wife Michelle, all of North Attleboro. She was the cherished Amma of Ryan Boyle, Jason Tronti, and Sean Boyle. She was the dear sister of Gertrude Cartier of North Attleboro and David C. Fisher of Florida. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Linda was the sister of the late Susan Kane, Judith Bulkeley, and Elton B. Fisher, III.

A graveside service for Linda and her beloved husband Richard will be held at a later date, with the day and time to be announced. Arrangements are entrusted to the SPERRY-MCHOUL-PICHI FUNERAL HOME, North Attleboro.
