Linda Marie Brubaker, 78, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025. She was born on March 18, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late William and Connie Poole.
After graduating from Bay Ridge High School in Brooklyn, Linda moved with her family to Northern New Jersey, where she lived for many years before relocating to South Carolina to lovingly care for her father.
Linda was a woman of extraordinary generosity, compassion, and spirit. She was known for her vibrant energy, quick humor, and the way she made everyone she met feel valued and cared for. Her life was marked by devotion to her family, loyalty to her friends, and a generosity of spirit that never wavered.
She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband of over 28 years, Richard Brubaker of Myrtle Beach; her son, Vinnie Sardo of Caldwell, NJ; her three cherished granddaughters, Demi, Cassie, and Angie; her sister, Michele Glynn of Arizona; and her brother, Billy Poole of Arizona.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00- 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. In keeping with Linda’s joyful spirit, guests are encouraged to wear bright colors.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s name may be made to Associated Charities, 742 Lumber St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577, an organization especially close to her heart.
