Linda Gail Casteel Cantrell, 72, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. Born September 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Renow Carson Casteel and Betty Bowling Pentecost.
Linda was a retired nurse having worked at General Hospital, Skyline Hospital and Centennial Hospital. She was a faithful Christian and member of Goodlettsville Church. Linda loved anything and everything Vols related. She loved the University of Tennessee to the core.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother Gary Blane Casteel, sister Melanie Grace Casteel, daughter Dana Michelle Cantrell in April of 2024, and significant other James "Jim" Fuqua, Jr. on June 1, 2024.
She is survived by her son Jason Cantrell; and special friend and caregiver, Hope Hill.
A memorial service celebrating the lives of both Linda and her daughter, Dana, will take place 2pm Saturday, August 10, at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Friends and family may gather an hour prior to the service.
Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville has been entrusted with Linda's cremation arrangements.
