Linda Carlile Obituary

Linda Kay Carlile, 71

Linda Kay Carlile, 71, of Kellogg, ID, passed away on May 29, 2025 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Linda was born on September 1, 1953 in San Diego, CA to Robert and Florence (Kelewae) Dunn.

Linda attended Whitworth College in Spokane, WA, ultimately transferring to Chico State in Chico, CA to complete her degree. Linda loved the Inland Northwest and jumped at the opportunity to move back in 2011 with her daughter and family.

Linda is survived by her two children; John Carlile of Buford, GA and Rachel (Chad) Meyer of Kellogg, ID; two bonus children, Terri Carlile of Hayden, ID, and Kenny Carlile of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren; three siblings; and five nieces and nephews.

Linda was always active in retirement and could often be seen working at the PASS program at Pinehurst Elementary or carting her grandchildren and their friends to the pool or river in the summer to swim. Linda will be missed by many.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, 10:30 AM at Silver Valley Worship Center, Smelterville, ID.
