Linda M. Carter, 75 of Streator passed away Saturday (December 31, 2022) at Heritage Health, Minonk.
Private family services will be held. The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Linda was born on October 9, 1947, in Streator to Edward J. and Barbara A. (Reeser) LePard. She married Terry Lee Carter on January 31, 1970. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2009.
Surviving are granddaughters, Heather H. Vermilyea and Emily Mellos, son-in-law Michael Whiting of Canada, brother Edward LePard Sr of S. Carolina, sisters, Sarah LePard of Streator and Sally Wissen of Louisville, KY, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Terry and daughter Barbara Michelle Whiting.
Linda attended Streator grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1965 and attended Midstate Business School in Peoria. She was a member of the former First Baptist Church in Streator.
Memorials may be made in her name to Cops 4 Cancer @ P.O. Box 1461 LaSalle, IL 61301.
