Linda L. Crace, 79, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on December 14, 2025, at Norton Clark hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born on July 27, 1946, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Emery Green and Ella Louise (Newby) Green. Linda graduated from Scottsburg Senior High School in the class of 1964 and went on to earn a Associates Degree from Sullivan University. She was a committed member of the First Christian Church in Scottsburg, where she actively participated in the women's Bible study group, bringing joy and inspiration to her community. Her compassion touched many, but her happiest moments were spent with her beloved grandchildren, often accompanied by her trademark snack-Cheetos, always ready in her purse for a bit of joy to share. Linda is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Glenn Green, Gerald Green, and Horace Green; and one sister, Janice Green. She is survived by three children, Melinda "Mindy" (Grant) Lowe, Bryan (Kristy) Crace, and Melissa (Eddie) Miles; one brother, Darrell Green; grandchildren, Morgan (Alex) Jobst, Margo (Abbey) Tedesco, John Tedesco, Charlie Tedesco, Bailey (Chad) Wagner, Samantha Crace, Peyton Crace, Natalie (Patrick) Rogers, and Emerson Lowe; and great grandchildren, Sophia, Sal, Maria, Tony, Gus, Miles, and Foster. Funeral Service for Linda Crace will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00am at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
