She was an only child, born on September 19, 1931, in Ponta, TX, to Orville Brown Irwin and Alta Opal Smith Irwin.
Linda married Robert Virgil Traylor on January 15, 1949. They had 3 daughters, Connie Llana, Delonda Kay, and Vivian Ann. They lived in Dumas, TX. After Virgil passed away, Linda moved to Mt. Judea, AR, where her parents had moved a few years earlier. Linda met David Criner, and they were married in Harrison, AR, on June 17, 1964.
Linda loved her Lord and Savior. She was a stay-at-home mom who enjoyed gardening, writing poetry, and playing the piano, as well as many other instruments by ear. She was a faithful inspiration to all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her loving parents, her 1st husband, Virgil, 2nd husband, David, and her daughter, Delonda.
Linda is survived by 2 daughters, Connie Smith and Vivian Pinkley, her grandchildren, Rachelle, Heather, Aaron, Courtney, Cieara, 14 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 11, 2025, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR, with Rev. Walter Carl McCutcheon officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Judea Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday before the service.
Pallbearers will be Chancey Compton, Thias Williams, Terryl Peveto, Harley Compton, Wriston Ricketts, and Heather Smith.
