She is survived by her husband, Richard Russell of Jasper, AR.

I met Nada at the Walmart Home Office. She was from Jasper, and I was from Northeast Arkansas - turns out, she, Rick, and I had all crossed similar paths earlier in life.
At Walmart, Nada worked with the programming and technology teams during the Y2K transition. Over three years, they rewrote more than a million lines of code. I remember seeing her on December 31, 1999 - we were in the break room with the other crews, drinking coffee and waiting to see what would happen. Everything held steady, thanks to years of behind-the-scenes work.
We lived nearby and would occasionally run into each other in the neighborhood. I met Rick back when he was in law school, and over time, we all stayed in touch. I knew Nada had faced health challenges in recent years, and I thought of her often.
She was steady, thoughtful, and good at what she did. She leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, steady contribution, and we had fun telling stories and listening to others. Good times.

Nada was an amazing person and I had the privilege of working with her at Mass Merchandisers for several years. She was a very hard worker and did an excellent job. I hate to see that she´s passed away. Certainly a wonderful soul.
