Linda “Grandma” Cherry Daniels, 75, of Surfside Beach and Glenn Springs, SC, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born on May 23, 1950, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Margaret Cherry.
Linda graduated from Dorman High School, Class of 1968. She was a retired Payroll Manager at Adidas North America and a member of Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church.
She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, James “Jimmy” Daniels, and sister, Katherine Carter. Linda is survived by her children, Nikki Daniels of Greer, Jamie Daniels (Stephanie) of Glenn Springs, and Matthew Daniels (Brandi) of Glenn Springs; grandchildren, Katelyn Romine (Hayden) of Elgin, Dylan Harvey of Fountain Inn, and Cole, Blake, Graycie, and Landon Daniels of Glenn Springs; great-grandchildren, Raleigh Romine and Ollie Daniels; sister, Norma Jean Rodgers (Tommy); and sisters-in-law, Delia Daniels, Patty Daniels Elm (Earl), Dottie Daniels Pack (Fred), and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 3:00-4:30 PM at Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church, with a Graveside Service to follow in the church cemetery, 6001 SC-215, Pauline, SC 29374.
In memory of Linda, contributions may be made to Project Hope Foundation, 2131 Woodruff Rd., Suite 2100-358, Greenville, SC 29607.
