Linda was born Sept. 15, 1958, in Caldwell, Tx. to parents Jeremiah and Pauline Jones. After years of moving around, the family settled in El Paso, Tx, where she graduated from Parkland High School then later met the love her life, Joshua Daughtry. The two were married for 44 years and birthed her three children: Darrell Anthony, Angela, and Joshua Daughtry Jr. Her greatest joy was raising her children and seeing her grandchildren grow. Linda moved to Macon, Ga in 2002 and lived out the rest of her years taking care of her husband and her grandchildren.

Linda had a short battle with stage 4 colon and liver cancer. Through her health issues, she continued to have a positive attitude and bright smile.

She is survived by her parents, Jeremiah and Pauline Jones, her siblings: Jeannette Davis, Vickie Cromartie, Jeremiah Jones Jr, and Terri Jones, her husband, Joshua Daughtry and her three children and her grandchildren Kiana Daughtry, Eric Feagin, Brynlee and Brooklynn Daughtry.

Visitation will take place at 11:00 AM with Funeral Service at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Committal Service will follow at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
