Linda Sue Delaney, age 79 of Jena, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
Mrs. Linda Sue was born to the union of Don & Evelyn S. (Leonard) Miller on Monday, January 25, 1943, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She worked in the cafeteria in the public school system. She was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church.
Sister Delaney was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Clyde Rufus Delaney and her parents.
Those left to love and miss her dearly are her daughter Renee (Delaney) Pippins, of Jena, son Rusty Delaney, of Jonesville, two granddaughters Kayla Pippins, and Karly (Pippins) Stapleton & husband Chad, two grandsons Eric Delaney & wife Brooke, and Steven Delaney, nine great grandchildren, and her very special sister, Ida Mae Stockman.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at New Life Pentecostal Church, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at New Life Pentecostal Church, from 9:00 AM until time of services.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at New Life Pentecostal Church with Rev. David Poole and Rev. Jonathan Crist officiating. Mrs. Delaney will be laid to rest following the service in the Heard Cemetery, in Manifest, Louisiana under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.
Those honored to serve the family as pallbearers are Randy Stockman, Claude Ellard, Devra Stockman, Russell Delaney, Eric Delaney, and Steven Delaney, Honorary pallbearers are Kayla Pippins, Karly Stapleton, and her great grandbabies.
