Linda Diaferio, born on January 20, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY, passed away on July 30, 2024 in Albany, NY. She was known for her dedicated career as a supervisor at the Department of Motor Vehicles and touched the lives of many with her and professionalism.
Linda's commitment to excellence and strong work ethic were admirable throughout her tenure at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Her colleagues remember her as someone who always went above and beyond to help others and ensure efficiency in all tasks she undertook.
Outside of her professional life, Linda found joy in simple pleasures and cherished moments spent with her family. Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving children, Cassandra Diaferio, Amanda Burke (her husband Jason), and Jeffrey Dalvano. Additionally, Linda leaves behind four adoring grandchildren who brought immense happiness to her life.
A memorial visitation to honor and celebrate Linda's life will be held on August 31, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island in Middle Island, NY. The event will provide an opportunity for family and friends to pay their respects and share fond memories of Linda.
