Linda Kay (Kellams) Drake, 80, of Santa Claus, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on September 20th, 2023 at her residence.

She was born in Paoli, Indiana on March 6th, 1943 to Pauline (Holland) Kellams Parks.

Linda married Dennis Drake on March 17th, 1962 and he survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; (1) Daughter – Melissa Ann Drake; (2) Brothers – Larry and Lonnie Kellams and (2) Sisters – Janice Kellams and Deretha Colber.

Linda was a 1961 graduate of Paoli High School, a member of Victory Baptist Church and Pilot Club Professional Organization.

She worked along side her husband at Dennis Drake Insurance Agency, LLC, representing State Farm Insurance.

Linda enjoyed playing Scrabble, puzzles, networking, word search, reading and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by:

Husband – Dennis Drake 

Daughter – Michele Lynette (Drake) Borton (Kevin) 

Sister – Vicki Childers

(3) Grandchildren

(2) Great-Grandchildren

 

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Craig Chestnut on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Ames Chapel Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) until the time of service at the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Ames Chapel Cemetery, c/o Connie Kerby, 2225 N. County Road 575 W., West Baden Springs, Indiana 47469.
