Linda Marie Fossett (nee Violon), 73 of Avondale died on July 18, 2025. Born in Ridley Park, the daughter of the late Charles V. and Dorothy M. (nee Younkin) Violon, she lived in Norwood before moving to Avondale ten years ago.
Linda was a graduate of Interboro High School, class of 1969 and was employed as the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent at the Interboro School District. She enjoyed traveling and attending her grandchildren's sporting events, but most important was her loving family, her husband, children and her cherished grandchildren.
She was the loving wife of 53 years to Robert J. "Bob" Fossett, devoted mother of Mandy Bertotti (Mike) and Brad Fossett, cherished grandmother to Brielle and Caden Bertotti and Lyla Fossett and sister of Joanne Boyle (Butch), Dorothy Fertig (Mark) and Edward Violon (Gayle).
Services and burial will be held privately.
