Linda Fregeau, born on May 6, 1943, in Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, in Littleton, Colorado. A beloved sister and aunt, Linda dedicated many years of her professional life to the telephone company, where she notably contributed to its evolution into Verizon during her time working in Miami, Florida, and Greenfield, Massachusetts.
Most prominently remembered as a loving sibling, Linda maintained strong bonds with her family throughout her life. She is survived by her sister, Oleathia Kallio, and her brothers, Frank Prevett Jr. and Patrick Prevett. They remember her not only for her steadfast support but also for the joy she brought into their lives.
Linda was married to Richard Fregeau since 1966, a partnership marked by deep love and mutual respect that lasted until his passing in 2022. Together, they realized one of their proudest accomplishments—purchasing their home in Leyden, Massachusetts, around 1969, where they cultivated lasting memories and a loving atmosphere.
Beyond her career and familial ties, Linda had a passion for her cats and for gardening, finding solace and delight in both flower and vegetable gardens. Her nurturing spirit shone through in her dedication to her plants, reflecting her warmth and care for others.
Though deeply missed, Linda's legacy of love, family values, and cherished memories will continue to resonate with her surviving relatives and friends as they celebrate her remarkable life.
