Linda M. Gatzke, coming into the world on April 18th 1943, in Cleveland Ohio, departed this life on July 15th 2025 in her home in Lexington, Massachusetts. She had a peaceful end to a long term illness, passing away in comfort and peace with her immediate family in attendance. Linda graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying piano, organ and church music. Her first love was teaching her scores of students over a 50 year career in Lexington Massachusetts. She provided a wonderful teacher - student experience, utilizing her deep knowledge of piano pedagogy techniques, Dalcroze Eurythmics, and Solfege ear training. She held monthly Piano Parties for her students, giving them rich performance opportunities at a very young age. Linda was a life-long member of the New England Piano Teachers Association, serving as an officer for several years. Linda was a life-long learner, reading several books per week. She loved to travel and experience many different cultures, both European and Asian. Music was a paramount element in her life, and she attended Boston Symphony concert series and a great deal of chamber music. Her second paramount interest was enjoying all of the creative accomplishment of her grandchildren (life's reward!!). Linda is survived by her husband of 59 wonderful years Ronald Gatzke, her daughter Robin White, son-in-law Roger White, grandchildren Olivia White and Nathaniel White, brother Robert Morman and his family – wife Toni Morman, and sons Robert Morman Jr. and Scott Morman. Linda will be interred in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge Massachusetts.

A memorial service will be held at 10AM on Saturday August 23rd, 2025, at First Parish Church, 7 Harrington Road in Lexington Massacussetts. Spoken and Musical Rememberances will be made. Parking is available directly behind the church.
