Linda C. Gilbert, age 72, of Gladstone, passed away Monday morning, November 24, 2025 at her home.

Linda was born on January 25, 1953 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Walter Janssens and Francis VanSteen.

Linda was smart and had a heart of gold. A very adventurous person who was hard, but very fair. She loved her bird watching and gardening. In her younger years she and David enjoyed camping.

A member of All Saints Catholic Church, she was a woman of faith.

Linda was united in marriage to David Gilbert on January 30, 1995

She spent most of her life as a customer service representative for Miss Dig Michigan.

In addition to her husband, David, Linda is survived by:

Children: Kevin Kimberley and Kari Kimberley, Nichole Nault, Catherine Gilbert and William Gilbert

Grandchildren: Zachary, Matthew, Destiney, Gabe, Cameron, Maddie, Mercedes, Tyler

Great Grandchildren: Kambri and Walker

And Siblings: Debbie, Diane and Sue

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM until Noon at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian burial will follow visiting hours at 12:30 PM at the All Saints Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Romeo Cappalla officiating. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall. Linda will be laid to rest in the Fernwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
