Obituary

Linda Rose Hampton, age 75 of Glasgow, KY, formerly of Somerset, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. She was born in Somerset. KY on August 20, 1950, a daughter of the late Hugh Decker and Lela Helton Flynn Decker. Linda was a real estate broker-owner for REMAX. She was a member of Pisgah Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed cooking, game shows, and the love of her life, her grandchildren. She was a foster parent to over 50 children. She also helped raise DJ and Maria Decker.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny Gramblin of Glasgow, Kentucky, and her four children: Joseph Franklin Hampton, Mikkel Lee Hampton, Mona Hampton, and Charity Ann Stuckey, all of Somerset, KY. Brothers Hugh Frank Decker of Sloan's Valley, KY, and a sister, Donna Jean Norris (AL) of Somerset, KY. Grandchildren: Anthony, Nathaniel, and Brandi Pence, Joseph Maxwell Hampton, Andrew Hampton, Laci Smith, Colton Smith, Adeline, Malakia, Mikkle, and Zealand Hampton. Jerimah DeFabus, Deanna Sky DeFabus, Dakota and Christopher DeFabus, and great-grandchildren: Emmalyne, Callum, and Gracelyn Rose Pence.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald L. Decker, and Infant brother Hulen Coy Decker.

A service honoring the life of Linda Hampton will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory with Pastor Michael Hampton and Pastor Donnie Worley officiating.

Visitation will be on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Burial will be in the Somerset Cemetery. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 1500 College Way, Lexington, KY 40502.
