Sue Carole Estes

Sue Carole Gosser Estes, 81 of Eubank was born on December 13, 1944, in Nancy, Kentucky. She went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Her transition was unexpected, but her faith had her prepared for the day that would surely come. Sue was the daughter of the late Jacob "Jake" Gosser and Mildred Haney Gosser.

She was a 1963 graduate of Nancy High School and attended the University of Kentucky. Sue was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving, kind-hearted and generous wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lewis Estes whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage together until his death in 2022.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters: Emily Dahlman of Lexington and Mia Beth Gregory of Somerset and two sisters Sara Jayne Faulkner (Gary) and Patricia "Patti" Blackburn (Joe)

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no local funeral service. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
