Linda C. Hardin, 67, of Columbus passed from this life on March 26, 2026, at 8:35 p.m. at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born on September 22, 1958, in Columbus, the daughter of Ernest T. and Alma C. Pedigo Jessie. Linda lived a life full of love, joy, and compassion, leaving behind a legacy cherished by her family and friends.

Linda's journey through life was marked by her profound love for her family. On May 9, 1987, she married Russell W. Hardin, and together they built a home filled with warmth and happiness.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Tish) Dean, of Seymour, Nathan (Shonna) Dean of Seymour, Kyle Hardin of Oregon, and Travis (Bree Knichel) Hardin of Brownstown; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Randall Jessie and Jimmy (Patty) Jessie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on October 13, 2016; daughter, Amanda N. Hardin; sisters, Mary Louise Starks and Katherine Starks; brother, Robert Jessie; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Jessie and Connie Keller.

Professionally, Linda dedicated several years at Target, where she was known for her unwavering work ethic and kindness. Linda loved playing games with friends, reading, and watching her shows and the series LOST. In her younger years, Linda loved immersing herself in music and dancing, a testament to her joyful spirit and zest for life.

Linda will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving and kind person, someone who had the unique ability to bring people together with her warmth and generosity. Her legacy of empathy, compassion, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. As her loved ones reflect on her life, they take comfort in the treasured memories Linda created and the love she shared with all who knew her.

Services have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
