Funeral services for Linda Sue Harjo will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Creek Chapel Methodist Church of Okemah. Interment will follow at the Creek Chapel Cemetery. Wake services will be Tuesday, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel of Okemah.Linda Sue Harjo was born December 19, 1956 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Louis Frank Harjo and Lucinda Judy Harjo. She passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 68.Linda attended school at Okemah and later at the Jones Academy at Hartshorn before graduating from Sequoyah High School at Tahlequah. She later received certification from Conners State College in Early Childhood Development. Linda took early retirement having survived cancer and was diagnosed with autism and a form of muscular dystrophy. She loved spending time with her sons, nieces, nephew and family members and her favorite pastime was watching soap operasShe is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Edmond and David and two sons, Mark and Edmond.Survivors include her brother, Leroy Harjo of Okemah and her sister, Dora Taylor of Tulsa.Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Creek Chapel Church.Honorary bearers include Pahose Harjo, Adonnis Deere and Tommy Frank.Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.Online condolences may be made at www.ParksBrothersFuneralHome.com.
