Linda Kay Holliday, age 82, of Marion, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025. On February 6, 1943, she was born to the late Williard M. and Edna G (Halley) Higgins in Marion, Ohio.
Linda graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1961.
She married Gary E. Holliday on February 25, 1962. They spent 59 wonderful years together. Linda was deeply devoted to her family and the love of her life Gary.
She attended The State Beauty Academy and was licensed as a beautician. She worked several jobs throughout her life specializing in clerical and bookkeeping.
She met and had great friends as a member of the Tops Clubs, Red Hat Society, and Grace Baptist Church. Linda was a faithful servant, she lived a full life of serving the Lord. Above all, she was a devoted wife, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by her friends, especially by her loving family.
She kept an immaculate home and enjoyed working in her yard, and was an avid Ohio State fan.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gary Holliday, her parents Williard and Edna Higgins, brothers Larry Higgins and Wayne Wilcoxin, daughter in law Christiana “Tina” Holliday, step grandson Kory Kirkpatrick, brother-in-law Keith McFann, and sister-in-law Judi Hughes.
She is survived by sons Rick Holliday of Marion and Scot (Stephanie) Holliday of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, granddaughters Lindsay and Erica Holliday, step granddaughter Hannah (Thomas) Kramer, sisters-in-law Nancy Higgins and Beth McFann, and brother-in-law Mike Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s name to Grace Baptist Youth Church Camp.
Immediately after the burial at Marion Cemetery, there will be a luncheon held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 1232 East Center Street Marion, Ohio 43302.
