Linda Susan Hudson
Ava, Missouri
Linda Susan Hudson (née Chambers), 74, passed away on March 21, 2025, in Ava, Missouri. She was born on May 10, 1950, in Racine, Wisconsin.
Linda was a proud member of the Mormon church and found great joy in her faith. She loved attending services and being part of her religious community. Her creativity shone through in the jewelry she made for family and friends, each piece crafted with care and affection. She also had a passion for cooking and delighted in having others try her dishes. Gathering with loved ones brought her happiness, as did watching classic western television shows like The Andy Griffith Show.
Linda is survived by her children, Dawn LaMarche and Robert Slater; her sister, Connie Chambers; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Danica, and Connor; her husband, Alfred; and many other friends and family members.
Though she may not have been perfect in every role she held, she always tried her best. One of the things that stood out most about Linda was how deeply she valued the accomplishments of those around her. She proudly displayed Dawn's paintings where everyone could see them and spoke often of Robert's military service overseas with immense pride. She kept up with the lives of her nieces and nephews across various states, celebrating their achievements as if they were her own.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 5, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 910 Shull St., Ava, Missouri. The service will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 10:45 AM. May Linda's memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
Cremation services for Linda were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
