Elkhart - Linda Humble, 76, passed away on November 9, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on February 9, 1949, in Connersville, IN, to Philip Edwards and Evelyn (Worley) Edwards, who preceded her in death.
She worked for many years at Meijer Central Kitchen in Middlebury. Linda was best known for her love of knitting. She enjoyed watching old westerns on TV and often spoke of her trips to Orlando, Florida and going to Disney World.
Linda is survived by her son, Allen (Tracey) Humble, South Bend; her daughter, Rita Humble, Goshen; a brother, Bill Edwards; and grandchildren, Dylan Humble and Samantha Humble.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant lost during pregnancy in a tragic car accident.
According to her wishes cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
