Linda Kay Isaac, age 77, of Temecula, California, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. Linda was born on December 25, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas to Willie and Tommie Nell Robinson. Linda grew up in Austin and Pflugerville, Tx.
Linda attended Rosewood elementary school, Kealing Jr. High School, Hopewell High before integration and Pflugerville High where she was the first African American to graduate. She continued her education at San Diego City College majoring in Accounting.
On December 23, 1966 Linda was joined in marriage to Richard Lee Isaac.
In 1967 Linda and Richard moved to Los Angeles for military service and also announcing pregnancy of their only child. Upon returning to Texas in December 21, 1968 they brought into the world Rodney Lucine Isaac.
In 1971 Linda worked for the federal government as an IRS agent where she retired after 30 years of service. Linda loved her coworkers and maintained long life friendships with some.
Linda was a member of St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church in Pflugerville Texas under the leadership of Rev. Cecil Young until her move to San Diego, California in 1977. In 1977 she joined Community Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C.E. Gayton in National City, California. There she had a love for singing praises to God and joined the 100 mass choir, involved in the Altar Guild, and other organizations where needed. She later joined Mountain View Community Church under the leadership of Pastor John Wells in Temecula and lastly Joined the Rock Church under the leadership of Pastor Hennie and Miranda Bosman also in Temecula.
Linda put her humanity and love for God into action by helping others in need.
Linda is preceded in death by both beloved parents, Willie Hall Robinson and Tommie Nell Robinson, sis Georgetta Canada, bro Jimmy Robinson and niece Jacklyn Robinson (Bubbles).
Linda is survived by her son Dr. Rodney L Isaac, her siblings, Jack Robinson, Arlene Robinson, Queen Watson, Joseph Robinson, and James Robinson in addition to many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
