Linda Johnson

The open house celebrating the life of Linda "Lin" Johnson of Wadena will be held on Friday, October 3, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. with a Time of Remembrance beginning at 6:00, at the Schuller Family Funeral Homes' Johnson-Schuller Chapel in Wadena. The family encourages you to wear bright colors, as Lin would have wished. At the age of 76, Lin passed away on September 23, 2025, at her home in Wadena, MN, with family by her side and with compassionate care by Vivie Hospice. Linda "Lin" Jane Triebenbach was born to Elmer and Celia (Pooler) Triebenbach on April 20, 1949, in Long Prairie, MN. She attended Wadena Public Schools and eventually graduated from the Farm Mechanics Program at Central Lakes College in Staples. Later she was employed as a Direct Support Professional Supervisor. On August 20, 1994, Lin was united in marriage with Mark W. Johnson at Black's Grove near Wadena. Leisure hours were filled with quilting, crafts, listening to music, dancing, swimming, camping, fishing and playing Bingo. She also had a special interest in Native American heritage. Preceding Lin in death were her parents, Elmer and Celia; sister Ruth Triebenbach; and parents-in-law, Donald and Marie Johnson. Lin is survived by her husband, Mark Johnson of Wadena; daughter, Bonnie Brown of Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Travis (Sarah) Brown, Scott (Dusty Lee) Brown, Darin (Rose) Brown and Lacena (Gavin) Hart; great-grandchildren: Corbin Brown, Maya Brown, Weslee Brown and Jackson Brown; siblings, Danny (Kathy) Triebenbach and John Triebenbach; along with numerous extended family and friends. Honorary urn bearers will be Lin's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
