Linda (Gourlay) Johntry, 75 of West Belmar passed away on November 5th, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ after many months of battling several illnesses.
Linda had a flare for life unmatched by others. Her style, humor, and brightness for life will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her. Despite being disabled for her entire life, Linda always brought a uniqueness to everything she did. From her bright lipstick, to her quick wit and flamboyant style—her laughter and love will be missed by everyone.
She had an artistic spirit that shined through in her interior decorating, jewelry making, flower arranging and more. Her home was filled with flowers, plants, and an eclectic style.
Linda was born in Ft. Monmouth, NJ on February 26, 1950. She’s survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Carver and Luise Farrell, and their husbands Michael Schlagle and Kevin Farrell. Her three nephews Mark Morgan (Tonian Morgan), Noah Horowitz, and Dylan Carver, and one niece Mindy Morgan Avitia (Omar Avitia). And her two great nieces Olive and Autumn Avitia. She’s preceded in death by her husband Keith (Nose) Johntry, her mother Elizabeth Crispo, father Frank Crispo, and dog, Keesha.
