Linda "Diane" Jones

Linda "Diane" Jones, 81 of Black Creek, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, July 20, 2025, from 6-8pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy, Wilson. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Diane was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby Jones and his wife Suzi, Michael Jones and his wife, Sherri, and David Jones and his wife Mary; grandsons, Hayden Jones and his wife Christina, Ethan Jones and his wife Mary, Ryan Jones and his wife Jara, Corey Jones, and Lane Jones; granddaughters, Zoey Jones and fiancé Tyler Rogers, and Krista Jones; great-grandsons, Isaiah Jones, John Jones, Dawson Jones, and Grayson Jones; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Jones, Jade Jones, and Lennon Jones; brother, Thomas Alvin “Tommy” Ballance, Jr. and his wife Kay; and sister, Mary Jo Pittman.

Preceding her in death are her husband of 62 years, Herbert “Leamon” Jones, Jr.; parents, Alvin and Ida Ballance; and great-granddaughter, Madalynn Jones.
