Linda Juanita Carper Jordan

October 15, 1954 – January 14, 2026

Linda Juanita Carper Jordan, age 71, of Grayson, Kentucky, joyfully entered heaven on January 15, 2026, at 12:38 p.m., where she is now rejoicing in the arms of Jesus. Linda was born on October 15, 1954, in Mansfield, Ohio.

Linda was a woman of unwavering Christian faith who deeply loved God and lived her life praising and worshiping Him. She was a devoted prayer warrior and an active member of New Beginnings Assembly of God. She served in the church by helping with finances, participating in healing and prayer ministries, and witnessing to others. She trusted God in all circumstances. Her favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," reflected the strength and hope she carried throughout her life.

She adored her family beyond measure and would do anything for them. Along with her love and guidance, her unwavering support was a steadfast source of love and encouragement in her family. She especially poured unconditional love into her grandchildren, delighting in their lives, celebrating their successes, and cherishing every moment with them.

Linda was proud of her career as a Certified Public Accountant. She worked for several local businesses and was also self-employed, earning the respect and trust of all who worked with her through her integrity, dedication, and excellence.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James Ottis Carper and Ann Eva McGuire Carper.

She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 53 years, Vernon Jordan; her children, Christina (Ben) Webb, Rebecca (Jonathon) Cales, and Tonya Jordan; her siblings, Steve (Diane) Carper, Brenda (Ruben) McKee, and James (Claire) Carper; her cherished grandchildren, Zachary Webb, Alonna (Eric) Conley, Carson Webb, Logan (Jessie) Cales, and Jasmine Webb; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Maverick Dalton, Elliot Dalton, and Oakley Conley.

Though she will be deeply missed, Linda's family rejoices in knowing she is praising God in heaven and has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

A memorial service celebrating Linda's life will be held at New Beginnings Assembly of God, 194 Promise Land Drive, Grayson, Kentucky, on Monday, January 19. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the service following at 2:00 p.m.

I can't possibly begin to say how much Linda impacted my life, eternally. She was and is a true worshipper and she taught us all how to worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. She will always and forever have a special place in our hearts. We will soon dance on the streets of gold together. God bless with peace, comfort,
and joy, for everyone who sees this and feels the same way about her. She's a gem and a beautiful rose in God's garden. I love you. Thank you for being there for me. I thank you and Vernon for being there for Chandler's surprise college graduation party. You both have shown us so much love and care throughout the years. I look forward to dancing with you on those golden streets with our beautiful savior. I know you ran to him with open arms the moment you saw him! I love you and as I weep for you, because I miss you, my heart also fills with joy because you are with our first true love. I love you. I love you. I love you.

Forever and eternally, Jaime, Chandler, Nancy, and family. We pray for your family. I will always remember our talks. I'll always remember our prayers. I'll always remember you being there for me through some of the hardest times of my life. And I'll always remember you being an exemplary worshiper of the King of Kings and the Lord of lords. This world has suffered an immense loss, but Heaven has gained, once again, a beautiful soul. Heaven is that much sweeter now. We love you and Vernon and the girls.
