Linda King, 84, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 28, 2025. She was born on July 25, 1941, to the late Carl Snider and Lucille Killen Snider.
Linda was a well-loved woman, known for her wit, humor, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She enjoyed playing card games throughout her life, but it was the moments spent playing with her grandchildren after school that brought her the greatest joy. Time with family was always at the center of her happiness. She was a lifelong Christian of the Baptist faith and attended Deerfield Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Villard King; her parents, Carl and Lucille Snider; and her siblings: Roy Snider, Betty Hardiman, Dean Dowdy, Jimmy Snider, Dorothy Snider, Brenda Bailey, Wayne Snider, and Carolyn Evans.
Linda is survived by her children: Teresa (Jeff) Tipper, Lesa Newton, and Bronson (Star) King; her cherished grandchildren: Juston (Kaitlyn) Tipper, Caleb (Kendra) Brown, Paden (Lynsey) Tipper, Malee (Lee) Beckman, Kaylee (Tony) Van Eatten, Kinley (Danner) King, and Bri Snider; and her adored great-grandchildren: Ryan Tipper, Jace Tipper, Brooklyn Tipper, Zadie Tipper, Zeke Tipper, Callie Brown, Kate Brown, Cora Brown, Cayman Beckman, Mylee Beckman, Tobyn Beckman, Madilyn Tipper, Andrew Tipper, and Oaklin Van Eatten. She is also survived by her sisters, Jo Lopp and Bonnie Brazier.
Linda’s warmth, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind countless cherished memories and a legacy of laughter and love that will be carried on by those who knew her best.
