Linda Krueger December 27, 1959 – October 4, 2025

Linda Krueger, 65, of Brainerd, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 18, 2025 at the Eagles Club in Brainerd from 12:00PM to 5:00PM.

Linda was born on December 27, 1959, in Brainerd to George and Dorothy Wetherbee. She graduated from Brainerd High School and on April 4, 1978, was united in marriage to Roland Dean Krueger. The couple made their first home in Junction City, Kansas, before settling permanently in Brainerd, where they raised their two children.

Linda dedicated 36 years of service to St. Joseph’s Medical Center, where she was known for her hard work, kindness, and steady presence. After retiring in December 2021, she embraced her free time with joy — traveling, doing puzzles, cutting firewood, woodworking, thrift shopping, and picking rocks. She especially loved playing ball with her dogs and spending time with her family.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Roland; children Gwen (Mike Johnson) Scott and Nathan Krueger; grandchildren Alex Scott, Justin Scott, Mason Scott, Jacob Scott, Mackenzie (Brandon) Wood, Abby Johnson, and Alan Johnson; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings Glen Wetherbee of Brainerd, Luanne (Rodney Horner) Alexander of St. Cloud, Carolyn (Bruce) Schuety of Brainerd, and George “Marty” Wetherbee of Brainerd.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Wetherbee, and her sister, Meg Wetherbee.
