Linda Beth Leinart, 80, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024, at her residence. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 25, 2024 Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jace Williamson and Mr. John Williamson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 24, 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Linda Beth Leinart was born on September 15, 1943 in Celeste, Texas, to Emet Walter Berry and Ina Maud McCorstin. Linda attended Leonard High School and graduated in 1962. Linda married Danny Leinart on May 26th, 1967. They were happily married for 56 years and resided in Greenville, TX. Together they have one son, Damon Leinart.
She loved caring for various animals, especially birds and cats. She also enjoyed spending time reading and watching sports. Linda and Danny always attended the sports games of their grandchildren throughout the years. Linda also loved cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and the Texas Longhorns.
Linda is survived by her husband, Danny Leinart, and son, Damon Leinart, and his wife, Keri Leinart. Linda and Danny also have two grandchildren, Grayson and Jenna Leinart.
She is preceded in death by her parents Emet and Ina Berry and her older brother, Robert Berry.
The Leinart family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to nurse Jo Giles and Ultimate Plus Hospice who provided much love and care to Linda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA of Texas in Linda's memory.
