Linda K. Lichty, 79, of Lower Nazareth, PA, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025 at St. Luke's Anderson Campus. She was born in Allentown on May 5, 1946, to the late Lloyd and Mildred (Deutsch) Auman. Linda graduated from Sacred Heart School of Nursing and dedicated much of her career to caring for mothers and newborns as a Registered Nurse in the Mother Baby Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was a devoted member of St. Jane Frances De Chantal Roman Catholic Church in Palmer Township, where she found joy and community singing in the choir.
Linda loved her home in Lower Nazareth and the beautiful sunsets she watched each evening. She enjoyed playing her piano, taking long walks, going for bike rides, and traveling - especially to the beach. Most of all, she cherished moments with her children and grandchildren, who were the heart of her world. Family gatherings were always at "mom mom's" and she will be remembered for her wonderful laugh, bright smile, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.
Survivors: children: Jennifer Lichty of Bethlehem, Amy (Steven) Koorie of Easton, Sarah (Andrew) Toth of Bethlehem, and Michael (Megan) Lichty of Douglassville; siblings: Lloyd C. "Butch" Auman of San Antonio, TX, Glenn J. Auman of Emmaus, and Renee A. (Wayne) Parton of Nashua, NH; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson on the way.
Service: Family and friends are invited to her viewing 9-10:45am, Friday November 7, 2025 at St. Jane Frances De Chantal Roman Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Allentown Rescue Mission, allentownrescuemission.org
