Jack E. Lichty

Jack E. Lichty, 73, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 at University of Toledo Medical Center.

Jack was born in Paulding, Ohio on September 9, 1952, a son of the late Betty (Hill) and Myron Lichty.

He was a valued employee at General Motors in Defiance, Ohio. Jack enjoyed collecting pocket knives and was most comfortable making memories with his family at Messick Lake. It was easy to see that Jack was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren.

Jack will be sadly missed by his wife, Paula (Bissell) to whom he was married August 21, 1971; children, Brian (Aimee) Lichty, Scott Lichty and Tricia (Benji) Grant; brother, Jim (Cheryl) Lichty; grandchildren, Austin, Ethan and Aiden Lichty and Logan, Adalyn, Abigail, Hannah, Adah, Joseph, James and Deborah Grant.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Rex Lichty.

Viewing is Thursday, February 5th, 4 PM to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

Jack's funeral service is Friday, February 6th, 10:30 AM, with viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at Antwerp Global Methodist Church, 202 E. River Street, Antwerp.

He will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
