Linda C. MacGrath (Linda Kathleen Campbell), 80, of Perrysburg, Ohio, and longtime resident of Wayne, New Jersey passed away on Friday August 22, 2025. She had a short battle with cancer, but she was able to pass peacefully under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio and many meaningful visits with friends and family.

Linda was born on September 9, 1944, to the late James and Anna Campbell. She graduated from Butler High School in New Jersey and had a career with State Farm Insurance. She was a hardworking and dedicated mother who loved her children and family dearly.

After retirement Linda and her husband Bob fulfilled their lifelong desire to travel by venturing across the United States and Canada in their travel trailer. During this time, they made many beautiful memories and fostered dear friendships. They spent winters volunteering at Myakka State Park in Sarasota Florida until they eventually moved there full-time. Linda boasted a 15-year tenure as a volunteer greeting visitors, being a nature interpreter, and giving educational talks about the wildlife, especially alligators. She was also a proud member of Wayne Presbyterian Church in Wayne, New Jersey and The Church of the Palms in Sarasota, Florida. She greatly enjoyed spending her time singing in the church choirs.

Above all else, Linda cherished spending time with her family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years Robert (Bob) MacGrath, sister Anne Campbell, and grandson Nicholas Liggieri. She is survived by her sister Judy Walser of Rockville, Maryland, and brothers James (Marlene) Campbell of Peachtree Corners, Georgia, and David Campbell of Bondville, Vermont, her children Duane (Jane) Paul of Perrysburg, Ohio, Michael (Christine) Paul of Vernon, New Jersey, and daughter Deborah (Alan) Schell of Glenwood, New Jersey, and step-children Sharon (Rick) McGrogan of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, Nancy (Fred) Soule of Kinnelon, New Jersey, James (Lisa) MacGrath of Pequannock, New Jersey, Theresa Cusmano of Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, Robert MacGrath of Springdale, Utah, her 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, and 6 step-great grandchildren.

She will truly be missed by all, but her memory and legacy will live on through her friends and family. A memorial service for Linda will be held in Glenwood Baptist Church, in Glenwood, New Jersey at-a-later date.
