Linda L. MacMichael, age 83 of Mullica Hill, NJ passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. Born in Sistersville, WV to the late Manford E. Tuel Jr. and Mary Kathleen (nee Huffman), she moved to New Jersey at the age of sixteen and graduated from Paulsboro High School Class of 1960. She married the late James R. MacMichael on January 28, 1961 and together they raised three children. Linda earned her nursing degree from Gloucester County College in 1986 and was an RN at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, retiring after 25 years of service. While working at Underwood, she earned the Nightingale Award for her dedication to serving her patients and assisting her fellow nurses & physicians.

After the death of her husband in 1994, she traveled with her daughter to Ireland, Italy, Alaska, Niagara Falls, and cruised the Caribbean Seas. Most of all she loved her family and adored her grandson, Jimmy.

Linda is survived by two daughters, Debra MacMichael (Joe Everingham), and Kathy Shute (Tom); her grandson, Jimmy MacMichael III; her sister, Jane Ann Nelson (Bill); and extended family members. She was also survived by her dog Mickey. Linda was predeceased by her son, James R. MacMichael Jr. and her dog Buddy.
