Linda Jean Manfre, age 72, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born in Wilmington on October 7, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Wesley Caleb and Esther Jean (Roberts) Henderson, Jr. Throughout Linda's career, she worked at various jobs, never afraid to do something new. She ended her career as a sales supervisor at Hoboken Floors.

Linda was a lifelong member of Elkton Moose Lodge 851. She enjoyed bird watching, especially hummingbirds. She loved watching them from her kitchen and while sitting on her back deck. She also enjoyed playing Café World online with people from around the world, some of which she became close friends with offline. She looked forward to visits to Kelly's Tavern to enjoy crabs and good company. Linda had a passion for cooking, baking cookies with family at Christmas and would make any excuse to have family gatherings. She cherished the time spent with her beloved family.

Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Allan Henderson; and son-in-law, William "Buck" Cline Jr. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Joseph Charles Manfre; children, David Wayne Callis, Sr. (Karen Argoe), Dorothy Ann Cline and Kenneth Wesley Jones (Kelly); siblings, Cindy Lawson (John), Michael Henderson (Cassandra), Nancy Verucci, Wes Henderson III, Ray Henderson and Richie Henderson; grandchildren, Thomas (Amanda), David II (Whitney), Adam (Kiki), Ashley (Dalton), Ryan, Hannah and Zachary; great grandchildren, Gage, Colton, Troy, Gavin, EmmaJean and Georgia; aunt, Mary McCready; uncle, Al Roberts; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her canine companion, Josie.
