Linda Ann McCullough, 52, of Fairmont passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born in Germany on July 26, 1972, a daughter of the late Larry L. Hamilton and Joyce Symenski Hamilton Locke of Fairmont.
She loved the outdoors, especially kayaking, river floating, walking, and riding her bike. She was always one to volunteer for community service and she never knew a stranger, making friends everywhere she went. She loved animals and rescued many in need. She most of all loved the time with her family and especially loved being a Mimi.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband William J. McCullough; one son Matthew R. Hawkins; one daughter Megan L Rye and her husband Levi; one sister Christy Hamilton; and one very special grandson Gunner L. Rye.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister Lori Morris.
In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated, and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Her remains will be laid to rest at West Virginia National Cemetery in a private burial service.
Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with these arrangements. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.carpenterandford.com
