McLemore, Linda Kay of Flint, age 74, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Landings of Genesee Valley. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Flushing Moose Lodge. Linda was born in Flint, Michigan on February 17, 1950, the daughter of Virgil and Hazel (Andrews) James. Linda retired from Ascension Genesys having worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant for over 30 years. Linda had a passion for music of all genres, especially Rock and Roll, Motown and Bluegrass, having attended many concerts and festivals throughout her life. Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Linda loved to laugh and have fun, and her laugh was loud and contagious!
Linda is survived by many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her son, James McLemore, Jr.; her sisters, Shirley Lambert and Patsy Johnson; and many other loving family members and friends.
Linda's family is thankful for the wonderful care she received by The Care Team, and also the staff of the Landings of Genesee Valley, especially Daphne who always had an extra smile for Linda and her family and showed much care and compassion.
We will treasure our many special memories and always hold them near. We love you Aunt Linda.
