Linda Lou Merchlewitz

Linda Merchlewitz, age 77, of Isanti passed away November 22, 2025 at home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 12th at Long Lake Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Linda Lou Merchlewitz (Johnson), age 77, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025.

Linda was born to Irene Johnson and Vernon Halvorson. She grew up in Gully, Minnesota and graduated from Gonvick High School in 1966.

On January 14, 1969, Linda married the love of her life, Harold Merchlewitz. Together they built a warm and welcoming home in Isanti, Minnesota, where they raised their four children-two sons and two daughters-as well as their niece, Celine. Linda devoted her life to her family, always offering love, guidance, and a place of comfort.

Linda was a homemaker and served her community as an EMT. She also spent many years working at Honeywell, Alliant Techsystems and Premier pontoon, where she was known for her strong work ethic, dedication, and steady presence.

Linda found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life. She loved animals of all kinds and had a special gift for nurturing her flower gardens. Her home was often surrounded by vibrant blooms, a reflection of the care and attention she poured into everything she touched. Her generosity was felt by all who knew her-Linda would help anyone in need, often quietly and without expectation.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Rodney; her grandmother, her parents; and other dear loved ones who welcomed her home.

Linda is survived by her husband, Harold; her daughter Lisa; her son Lawrence (Rachel); her daughter Teri (Warren); and her niece/goddaughter, Celine (Thomas), grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Sheila (Kyle), Jake (Makayla), Katlin (Brad), Michelle (Kyle), David (Taylor), Ryan, Ashley, Riley, Makailah, Jaiddyn, Ary, Zoe, Kylie, Ava, Cameron, Maddie, Jackson, and Koen. Cousins: Marsha (Michael), Susan, Phillip, Michelle, Melissa.

Linda was blessed with many nieces and nephews as well as close family & friends

She will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and the deep love she held for her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
